gelato colours are so happy don't you think? this place just enough of them for the home to feel like a happy one! little pops here and there, with texture, handmade and vintage thrown in, this home feels light and bright, without being too overwhelming. there is a consistent colour scheme - gelato colours - worked through the home, with different empasis yet a consistent theme as you move from room to room, and the volume of white, as always, keeps the space from feeling heavy. what colour schemes do you like? do you love gelato colours?

look at this natural light - its just streaming in! and just timber and white - it always works! a bit of old school industrial detailing on the chairs, a bit of glam in the chandelier, some colour and natural beauty in the flowers and bazinga! a space that works!

on a side note, i really like these floors - old school! wide boards that are not so flat because they are aged. the staining is also very well done and adds depth to the simple space.

these walls by lotta agaton are so beautifully done. its an artwork on a wall! they may be walls, but they give so much texture and depth to the image. would you ever be bold enough to try and create something like this at home? you could mix wallpaper and maps and papers and so many different things, you could make it so personal too. these ones use some artworks by clay ketter, but you could use anything, the world is your oyster!
